1. Dammit!
Can someone explain to me WHY there have been so many rollovers in these vehicles used by our military?!! Jeezil Pete, I guess it's a good thing Iraq is flat as a pancake or God knows what would happen (sarcasm alert). The sheer number of these deadly rollovers is friggin' ridiculous!

6. liars of course
if the truth came out about the real losses, the * know they're toast, so Rummy is doing his best to water down the real numbers on us. Tha's why you hear about so many humvees and tanks "suddenly flipping on its side"...

15. This looks really bad for the manufacturer of Humvees
I mean, their vehicles have the widest wheelbase of just about anything smaller than a fucking cement mixer, and they STILL manage to rollover in a GODDAMN DESERT on what seems like a daily basis.

If I were the manufacturer of these sepulchres-on-wheels, I would be screaming for the military to tell the truth about these deaths.

2. Oh...
thank God it was just an accident! It won't count in the total death toll.

</sarcasm off>

3. As soldiers are being killed, our president is using the war as part of
his fundraising speech. This is all so sad.

Here's the list.

10. Two dead near Mosul, one more dead near the Baghdad airport
It is very hard to keep track of the KIAs, and nearly impossible to find out the number of wounded.

8. West of Mosul

That's a long way from Bagdad.

On edit:

I know everyone has noticed this but now the practice of keeping two sets of books on how many troops have been killed in this war is just assumed and the real number isn't even given in this article.

13. It's the land mines
No matter how stable they are, they are unlikely to remain upright if a land mine explodes underneath them.

14. And I thought New Mexico highways were bad
At least we have an excuse with all of our DWIs.

Seriously, are we REALLY supposed to believe that our soldiers in Iraq are such crappy drivers that they just can't keep from smashing up their Humvees?

I feel terrible for the families of the victims who have to listen to this garbage. It only adds insult to tragedy to know they're being so cavalierly lied to.
