Riverside Man Succumbs To Wounds Received In Iraq

(CBS) RIVERSIDE A Marine, 27, from Riverside died of wounds he suffered in combat in Iraq, the Department of Defense announced Wednesday.

Cpl. Jason W. Morrow, who was wounded in Al-Anbar province on Monday, died of his injuries Tuesday.

He was assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force out of Camp Pendleton.

He was the second Riverside County resident to die in Iraq in June and the 18th since the war began in April 2003.

Now that the country is totally invested in the mobilization of troops, our economy would be in worse tatters than it is now. There are almost no Congressional Districts that do not benefit from mobilization.
