Former Bush intel official: Don't 'accept the crap we give you'
RAW STORY

Appearing before the The Senate Democratic Policy Committee, former Assistant Secretary of State for Intelligence and Research Carl Ford called upon policy makers to accept part of the blame for intelligence failures, telling them to 'not accept the crap we give you.'

The proceedings are chaired by Sen. Byron Dorgan (D-ND) and are hearing testimony regarding pre-way intelligence in Iraq.

senator xyz calls the foreign intelligence agencies up to the senate to quizz them -- and after their testimony -- their escape clause is:'not accept the crap we give you.'

2. This is why I don't understand why people still listen to them because
for me, it's not a problem, I don't and never have believed anything coming out of these SOBs.

3. I watched those hearings on C-Span3.
It was just incredible! Everything we talk about was proven true. Bush* lied us into a war. Col. Wilkerson said The Vice President was to blame for the neo-cons taking over the Pentagon. Scooter Libbey was friends with them all, so they never had any differing opinions when they discussed the war. Way more came out. If these hearings are repeated on C-Span, please, please watch.

Rep. Jones (R) attended. He was really upset, and said he would do everything he could to see that the American people knew the truth. He represents the District where Camp LeJuene (s) is. Rep. Jones said he has asked the Republican leadership to hold hearings on use of WMD's. (Fat chance.)

5. The best, most hard-hitting part of the Hearing
Rep. Walter Jones (R-NC): "How did these people (the neocons) get so much power."

Col. Lawrence Wilkerson: "Two words: Vice President"

6. The VP is the (public persona) spokesperson for an organized group
of decision makers. Cheney is the public figurehead/figurethug of a Global
Cartel of unseen international players manipulating political policy and the
market share worldwide.
