http://news.xinhuanet.com/english/2006-06/17/content_4710561.htm
GAZA, June 17 (Xinhua) -- The Hamas-led Palestinian government on Saturday welcomed the EU's decision to send urgent aid to the Palestinians despite economical sanctions imposed on Hamas by the West.

"Certainly, this is a positive step and a new development on the European stance," Hamas cabinet spokesman Ghazi Hamad told reporters.

"We welcome such a positive attitude," Hamad said, adding "wehope that the aid package "would be a means of establishing anormal relationship between the EU and the Palestinian government."

However, He blamed the EU and the United States for the deepening of a financial crisis facing the Hamas-led government.

Leaders of the EU, the biggest donor for the Palestinians, have agreed on supplying the Palestinians with money designated for food supplies and healthcare system.

1. Hamas needs to turn the tide
They fought, now its time to use diplomacy to achieve what they desire. They need to denounce terroristic movements and move forward. The framers of our constitution eventually put down their weapons and moved on to build a gov't. They must show peaceful intentions to become a recognized party.

the US is a peaceful world player. HaHa! What a joker I am. Bush + 40% AmeriKKKan supporters for PEACE? HaHa.
