Newark Elects Cory Booker to Be New Mayor
NEWARK, N.J. May 9, 2006 (AP)— Cory Booker, a 37-year-old former Rhodes scholar, became Newark's first new mayor in two decades by a landslide Tuesday, ushering in a new era for the struggling city.

This is a very, very good sign. Booker is a lot like Barrack Obama. If he does well in NJ, then that sets him up for bigger offices down the road, senator or governor.

5. Being a NJ resident, living very close to Newark...
I can tell you Booker is not all you think he is. In fact, I don't think he'll be much better than his predecessor. I'll let him reveal his true spots to you all himself...

6. I don't think anyone could be as corrupt as Sharpe James.
Booker will be a breath of fresh air.

7. I saw this article on Booker about a week ago and it is not good...
Before that, I had never heard of him since I am temporarily removed from my former stomping ground in New England.
Only time will tell.
