This is not the Afghanistan roadside bomb that killed 4 Canadian troops earlier today.

2. Add four more to the pile

Grass Bush

Pile the bodies high in Austerlitz and Waterloo Iraq
Shovel them under and let me work--
I am the grass; bush; I cover all.

And pile them high in Gettyburg Baghdad
And pile them high in Ypres and Vedum Mossoul and Al Fallaujah

Two years, ten years, and passengers ask the conductor:
What place is this?

I am the grass bush.
Let me work.

Carl Sandburg

3. Bush will keep troops in Iraq until January 20, 2009
Feingold, Murtha, Kerry and others, want the troops out at the end of this year.

Biden, Hillary, Lieberman, and others want to stay the course until victory is achieved (and they also want a new war in Iran).

I vote for bringing all the troops home this year. How about you?

19. Right now
It doesn't matter if they're there or not. It doesn't matter.

Show our support for our troops.

Bring them home now.

8. Now let's see how long Rumsfeld
lasts. The chorus of voices is getting louder. More people are adding to it.

Rep. Murtha said the troops will be home by the end of this year. So far, he hasn't changed his statement.

11. This is becoming too much to bear.
Think about all the tens of thousands of family members of the dead soldiers. Think about all the hundreds of thousands of family members of the wounded soldiers. Think ablout the hundreds of thousands of dead Iraqi civilians. Think about the literally one million or so family members of the dead Iraqi civilians.

This damn war is affecting too many people.

12. 600 billion dollars on Iraq and we still have guys getting blown up
by homemade land mines. 600 BILLION. WTF is up here? Have we finally learned that some things cannot be fixed by throwing money at it? Poor troops, how I feel for them one and all. May the dead RIP. :(
