U.S. denounces Iran nuclear announcement

WASHINGTON (AP) — The White House on Tuesday criticized the Iranian government after its president said Tehran had successfully enriched uranium for the first time, a potential step toward developing nuclear weapons.

"Defiant statements and actions only further isolate the regime from the rest of the world," White House press secretary Scott McClellan told reporters aboard Air Force One while flying to Missouri.

In a nationally televised speech, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad announced the development but said his country did not plan to develop nuclear weapons. He asked the West not to try to force Iran to abandon uranium enrichment.

...

"This is a regime that needs to be building confidence with the international community," McClellan said. "Instead, they're moving in the wrong direction. This is a regime that has a long history of hiding its nuclear activities from the international community, and refusing to comply with its international obligations."

2. What Scotty is not telling you is that enriching Uranium
is allowed under the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty (NPT) to which Iran is a signatory.

for consulting with congress about attacking Iran with either nuclear or conventional weapons. The Iranians have the right to self defense and they are clearly being threatened by the criminal cabal occupying the white house.

"Defiant statements and actions only further isolate the regime" - Iran must submit or be destroyed. What madness is this?

6. The US wants a nuclear monopoly to blackmail the world to do its bidding
The Cold War demonstrated that nukes are a deterrent to aggression. Any nation fearful of US invasion or attack has the G-d given right to defend itself. Nukes are the only way to insure that the US will resort to diplomacy rather than bombs to resolve any disputes.

8. USA is so insecure and unprotected it is not funny
.
.
.

When 911 happened, did the USA take care of itself?

Nope, not by a long shot.

And where exactly were most of the regular plane arrivals to the USA diverted?

Canada

We had more confidence in protecting ourselves than the "superpower" did.

And while the suspects of 911 were Arabs at the time

and flight from the USA was prohibited

Bush gave the high-rolling Arabs a free pass to leave the country

hmmmmmmm

11. Could this also be said of Israel:
Instead, they're moving in the wrong direction. This is a regime that has a long history of hiding its nuclear activities from the international community, and refusing to comply with its international obligations."
