DCF plans to fire investigator who stripped

The Department of Children and Families intends to fire a child abuse investigator who got naked on the Howard Stern show.

Alison Cushman got a letter Monday that gives her 10 days to respond before losing her job, DCF spokeswoman Marilyn Muñoz said.

Cushman first took off all of her clothes in an appearance on the Stern's radio show in February 2005, and was given a warning at that time that she was one step away from being fired, Muñoz said.

She returned to the show April 4 on a trip to New York with her new husband, Boynton Beach police detective Troy Raines. Naked photos of her from that appearance are posted on Stern's website, www.howardstern.com.
