Leak reveals official story of London bombings
Leak reveals official story of London bombings

· Al-Qaeda not linked, says government
· Internet used to plan 7/7 attack

The official inquiry into the 7 July London bombings will say the attack was planned on a shoestring budget from information on the internet, that there was no 'fifth-bomber' and no direct support from al-Qaeda, although two of the bombers had visited Pakistan.

The first forensic account of the atrocity that claimed the lives of 52 people, which will be published in the next few weeks, will say that attacks were the product of a 'simple and inexpensive' plot hatched by four British suicide bombers bent on martyrdom.

Far from being the work of an international terror network, as originally suspected, the attack was carried out by four men who had scoured terror sites on the internet. Their knapsack bombs cost only a few hundred pounds, according to the first completed draft of the government's definitive report into the blasts.

According to the report, the attacks were largely motivated by concerns over foreign policy and the perception that it was deliberately anti-Muslim, although the four men were also driven by the promise of immortality.

1. The Brits are so incompetent in these things.
Edited on Sat Apr-08-06 08:24 PM by niallmac
Of course the London Bombings were a world conspiracy of evil doers bent on erasing the very idea of the Royal Family, High Tea and all things British from the face of the earth.
10 Downing should immediately suspend all civilian freedoms that it's citizens enjoy in the name of national security and brand all present and future
dissenters traitors.
You don't go off half cocked and conduct a thorough and considered investigation! What amateurs!

5. I detect a faint whiff of whitewash,
Edited on Sat Apr-08-06 10:38 PM by TheBaldyMan
the Blair government is trying to introduce a national ID card, groups of rogue anarchists free to roam within the country is a little too convenient for the govt.'s purposes.

Questions have been raised about MI6 (British foreign intelligence) blocking the police investigation because they were defending one of their own. Apparently MI6 the CIA and Pakistan's ISI have been financing extremist islamic groups since the days of the Mujahedeen in Afghanistan. MI6 would rather obstruct the investigation than have their own involvement exposed.

10. Some of their own got a little 'friskey', eh?
Wouldn't it be strange, if it was financed by MI6, or maybe the 'High Financers' in London.

6. So, another "al-Qaeda" plot with no Al-Qaeda
So, the London bombings aren't related to al-Qaeda. I am sure you all read this about the Madrid bombings, and how there was no "al-Qaeda" involvement there either:

Madrid bombing probe finds no al-Qaida link
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/11753547/

But, notice how when Bush goes around yakking his rational for wars he always mentions the "al-Qaeda" attacks in London and Madrid.

This London bombing caper is the most blatant piece of State Intel. Agency terror so far (in this case, probably MI5.) To believe that these 4 guys from Leeds, some with kids, would do this you have to be gullible beyond hope. One of the sites attacked was Edgware Road Station. If you know London, as I do having been born and raised there, you would know that Edgware Road is probably the most Muslim area of London. The train and station around there would have been filled with Muslims. Why didn't they go to Golders Green (the largely Jewish area)? That would have been a more believable target.

All of their friends and family refuse to believe they did this. They say they were set up, and they were.

9. Except that if you look at those killed at Edgware Road,
none are obviously Muslim: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/shared/spl/hi/uk/05/london_blasts/victims/default.stm

Why assume that a rush hour Circle line tube train would be packed with people from one area?

Why attack a Jewish area? It was overall British policy they hated, not what some British Jew had done.

11. That wouldn't surprise me.
Where did you hear/see those eye-witness reports?

My guess, knowing that there had been a terror drill going on in the underground that morning, was that the four guys had been recruited to act the part of terrorists for the drill, and set off backpack bombs thinking it was just an act for the drill, never realizing they were carrying real explosives.

12. Wrong - there was no terror drill in the underground
There was a terror drill in a London office. There's a big difference. It was a paper exercise for disater management in a private company.

15. There were 6 crisis managers in a London office, and
there were over 1000 people involved in the terror drill altogether.

So no, it was not "in a London office", that is just where it was managed from.

16. Wrong again - the company employed over 1000 people
he never said they were involved in the exercise.

"we were actually running an exercise for a company of a 1000 people in London"

The email Power sent to all the people who were panicked by PrisonPlanet's coverage:

Thank you for your message. Given the volume of emails about events on 7 July and a commonly expressed misguided belief that our exercise revealed prescient behaviour, or was somehow a conspiracy (noting that several websites interpreted our work that day in an inaccurate / naive / ignorant / hostile manner) it has been decided to issue a single email response as follows: It is confirmed that a short number of 'walk through' scenarios planed well in advance had commenced that morning for a private company in London (as part of a wider project that remains confidential) and that two scenarios related directly to terrorist bombs at the same time as the ones that actually detonated with such tragic results. One scenario in particular, was very similar to real time events.

However, anyone with knowledge about such ongoing threats to our capital city will be aware that (a) the emergency services have already practiced several of their own exercises based on bombs in the underground system (also reported by the main news channels) and (b) a few months ago the BBC broadcast a similar documentary on the same theme, although with much worse consequences. It is hardly surprising therefore, that we chose a feasible scenario - but the timing and script was nonetheless, a little disconcerting.

In short, our exercise (which involved just a few people as crisis managers actually responding to a simulated series of activities involving, on paper, 1000 staff) quickly became the real thing and the players that morning responded very well indeed to the sudden reality of events.

Beyond this no further comment will be made and based on the extraordinary number of messages from ill informed people, no replies will henceforth be given to anyone unable to demonstrate a bona fide reason for asking (e.g. accredited journalist / academic).

Peter Power

That's what happens when a far right web site like PrisonPlanet gets an idea in its head. People get the wrong impression - which is how Alex Jones makes his money. Don't encourage him.
