GUANTANAMO BAY U.S. NAVAL BASE, Cuba (Reuters) - A Canadian teenager charged with killing a U.S. Army medic in Afghanistan told a Guantanamo tribunal on Wednesday he had been unfairly punished with solitary confinement and would no longer participate in the hearing

The testy exchange came during a daylong hearing where defence attorneys complained repeatedly about rules they said were unclear, unfair and not based on any legal framework.

It began when Vokey questioned who had authority to grant Khadr's request for a Canadian lawyer to join the defence team. Chester said he would decide if he had that authority once Vokey made the request in writing.

"There's no precedent here," Vokey fumed. "I don't know what rule to look to. I don't know what law to look to."

2. An American kangaroo court trying a child
he was but a boy when he was detained. People have the right to defend themselves against an invading army. What have we done in Afghanistan but wipe out entire villages on the word of paid informants that wanted to settle private grievances.

as punishment for Canada's refusal to join the war in iraq.
