US Plans To Renew Ties With Iran
The United States plans to renew diplomatic relations with Iran.

Officials said the administration has sought to establish low-level diplomatic ties with the regime in Teheran. They said the State Department would seek to open an office in Iran.

U.S. ambassador to Turkey, Ross Wilson, said the administration intends to open a representative office in Iran. Wilson, in a visit to the U.S. consulate in Adana on March 7, said the office in Iran could be established in the near future.

Wilson did not say whether Iran has approved the U.S. request. The United States has not stationed an official representative in Iran since 1979.

2. Bolthead isn't out yet
This looks like posturing on the part of the US.
This last final offer of peace to Iran
will be held up as one of the last failed straws
that leads to the inevitable invasion of that country.
War with Iran is still part of the A game.

3. We disagree, Sir. Time will tell, and fairly soon, I would expect.
I consider it a failed bluff, soon to be abandoned.

7. Iran's Oil Bourse has been postponed so time may not tell so soon
As the Oil Bourse goes so goes the invasion.
Bush will never allow the establishment of a third --non US controlled-- oil bourse or a forth --non US controlled-- oil marker.
I believe the invasion will follow shortly after, or shortly before,
the bourse opens.

4. Bullsh*t.
Sounds like hearsay to me. This site is only showing a clipping of the story. It's some sort of subscription service.

This would be a major headline everywhere if it was true. No sign of this fantasy anywhere else that I can see.

9. They might want to talk for a little while yet
The time is not quite right.
Sooner or later the talk will be over
and nukes will be falling.

8. Hmm. Maybe the BushCo knows that the Iranians are in
possession of proof that the U.S. has been backing Al Queda operations.

10. Don't you think Bush would just laugh that off?
He is a criminal of the highest degree
who sleeps well at night, safe in his own delusions
of grandeur and the knowledge that no one can touch him.
