Abizaid says Iraq can expect more bombings like Samarra attack
The chief of US Central Command says Iraq can expect more bombings like the one that targeted a Shiite Muslim shrine last week.

General John Abizaid says even the terrorists may have been surprised by the attack's success and the widespread violence it sparked.

Abizaid said the attack should serve as a "wake-up call" to US and Iraqi forces, who will need to be on guard for attempts on new symbolic targets.

But after meeting with Iraq's president and prime minister, he said coalition forces will not fall into the terrorists' trap. In his words, "We are stronger than they are. We will ultimately prevail."

2. We were stronger than North Viet Nam too, they were carrying
artillery shells on bicycles one at a time, we were sending people to the Moon. Guess who won?

4. What's the difference between "guerilla warfare" and...
"Terrorism"? I remember the Vietnam era. Too late, we found out that even the strongest, best-trained army in the world is no match for guerilla warfare. We finally had to admit that and withdraw. I see alot of similarities in the insurgent attacks. Can you see a difference in the two forms of fighting?
