Republican Chief Outlines 2006 Strategy
Republican national chairman Ken Mehlman on Friday outlined a political strategy for 2006 to portray Democrats as too weak to protect the country and to bypass the mainstream media to spread the GOP message.

"For a generation, terrorists learned they could make war on free nations without fear of war in return," Mehlman said, adding that Bush understood how to respond. "On Sept. 12, the terrorists got war in return."

But many at this national conference question the Bush administration's spending, deficits, immigration policies, prescription drug plan and increased use of federal power.

the NeoConvicts or their plans? HIA HIA HIA that is sooo funny. Just because they are both bought and paid for by the same 1/2 of 1% of the population

Their sheepel need to keep up that persecuted feeling.

4. I think he is referring to Reagan
his "cut and run" ideas in Lebanon. I think he is referring to Bush not doing anything about the USS Cole. Oops wrong topic, Bush has always been strong on terror and national security and he acted decisively on the Cole matter.

6. "Bypassing the mainstream media" is just another way of slanderizing
the media as "the liberal media". They have absolutely NO intention of bypassing MSM. Bypass means "to avoid" or "to ignore". Hah. Hah. Hah. No more talking points emailed to the MSM every afternoon? No more articles masquerading as "press releases" being written for and broadcast to every print reporter in the country? No more scripted events for the evening news?

So, tell me Ken, when do you plan on stopping doing all of the above? Next week? Hah. POS.

Mehlman lies again.
