Residents' concerns grow over U.S. Iraq occupation

When her son left in February to serve in Iraq, Mary Ann Zinger thought he would return in six months.

She thought the United States entered the war too quickly, but she was proud of Richard, 24, and the job he was doing.

Now his stay in Iraq has been extended to a year, and Zinger says the danger level is getting worse.

"Now I'm afraid," said Zinger, a secretary at Thomas R. Proctor Senior High School in Utica. "I'm addicted to CNN. You worry and you want news. I think we need to get out as soon as possible."

I'm seeing more and more pieces like this while surfing the news. The tide of public opinion is beginning to turn. Watch for the lies and spin from the administration to become even more outrageious in efforts to stem the changing opinions.
