Judge OKs United Airlines Reorganization Plan

"The ruling by U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Eugene Wedoff, after remaining objections to United's reorganization plan were resolved this week, keeps United on a path to emerge from Chapter 11 on Feb. 1 after the largest and longest airline bankruptcy in history.Wedoff said there is "reason to feel good" about United's restructuring, even though it took about twice as long as first projected."

Real cute for the employees! Pension plan GONE!

I KNOW, because my son works for another legacy carrier, that the one reason most employees stayed with the Company was the PENSION PLAN! Sure they made pretty good money, but not out of line with the education and responsibility of their jobs. But they could have gone to many other businesses and made MORE money.
