Bomb kills two in US security team in Iraq
Reuters

Jan 18, 2006 — BAGHDAD (Reuters) - A roadside bomb killed two U.S. private security contractors and seriously wounded a third in the southern Iraqi city of Basra on Wednesday, the U.S. embassy said.

The embassy said they worked for a private security firm and Iraqi soldiers in Basra said the Americans were in the city to train Iraqi forces.

"Coalition forces promptly arrived on the scene, cordoned off the area, and transported the wounded personnel to a nearby Coalition medical facility," the embassy said in a statement.

A Reuters cameraman said he saw two four-wheel drive vehicles, one of them seriously damaged, at the scene of the attack in the al-Tariq district of Basra.

3. No sympathy from me, either.
I'm not going to shed a tear for the "Soldiers of Fortune" today.

Here's an interesting question: I wonder how much Titan and CACI have to pay the families for these kinds of "accidents"? Even if they don't, can you imagine the insurance premiums these scumbag companies have to pay? I bet they're in the millions.

The policies are probably full of clauses like "exempt in a time of war", etc.+
