Ted Kennedy's Secret Love Child
The GOP will be making hay over this (of course, Ted was SINGLE at the time of the event)...

http://www.hubpolitics.com/archives/000157.php

The local Massachusetts channels just broke this on TV. The link above is scurrilous, but the story hasn't been posted yet to any mainstream media outlets.

My boy Ted can't catch a fucking break...

2. Looks like a swift-boat type of smear to me!
What the hell difference is it to us who is related to Ted Kennedy, legally or otherwise.
They don't seem too concerned over the Bull Shit pulled by the bu$h regime but God forbid Teddy have a child somewhere.
:WTF:

18. JC Watts never caught any shit, but Ted, they love to go after him
Here's the Herald (another scumbag paper) link to the same story: http://thetrack.bostonherald.com/moreTrack/view.bg?articleid=121772

I suppose we'll just have to start drumming up a list of GOP horndogs...but see, the value in this story for the GOP is that it DISTRACTS. When they have nuthin' to hit back with when political issues are raised, they head south to the genitalia!!!

16. First, that a DUer will not use The National Inquirer as a base to
smear a Democrat. This should be a given.

25. I am not smearing, I am simply letting everyone know this shit is OUT
Ted gets money from me--I have supported him for YEARS. His mother knew my grandmother.

It is on NECN (regional New England cable TV), it hit the HERALD today, it will be national in a heartbeat, if not already.

When the horse is out of the barn, it doesn't help to stick one's fingers in one's ears and pretend nothing happened. The GOP will be making hay, and we need to be ready with matches to set the haystack on fire and burn it to the ground.

31. I reacted to the assumption the person I answered to made, that it was
true. The story comes from the National Inquirer. Being informed is one thing. Trying to make excuses as if they knew the story was true is another.

5. According to report in National Enquierer. Hmmm...
If true, it could mean Ted didn't insist his lady friend visit an abortion doctor like shrub did.

So, who values life and who just talks about it?

And the original is from a National Enquirer story. Hey, isn't that the tabloid that lost a bunch of lawsuits for lying?

32. Because NEW ENGLAND CABLE NEWS is reporting it, as are the local
stations, and the Boston Herald had it, too. I heard it on TV, and that was the only link I could find.

It had all the essential features of the TV report. We can't make this go away, but what we can do is formulate a strategy that offers explanations as to WHY it is coming out, WHO is behind it, and ask the usual WHO BENEFITS? questions. Ignoring it is not in our interests.

17. So much for his 1984 presidential hopes
Oh, yeah. That was 22 years ago.

UPDATE: Jay Tea over at Wizbang writes, "Yeah, I know, it's the Enquirer. But over the last decade or so, that paper has had a track record for accuracy that outshines the New York Times."

That isn't saying much really, given the NYT track record on WMD, etc.

well you could have given Sen. Kennedy a break. Why post this? What does it accomplish? Is there any truth to it?

I'm so tired of this type of thing - these "stories" with a source of info. being the National Enquirer. :(

29. LOL! Our Corporate Leaders FEAR Ted
Good God!
What if Ted went on FOX "news" and started talking about his Medicare For All plan.
:scared: :scared: :scared: :scared: :scared:

http://www.commondreams.org/views05/0112-37.htm

An essential part of our progressive vision is an America where no citizen of any age fears the cost of health care, and no employer refuses to create new jobs or cuts back on current jobs because of the high cost of providing health insurance.

The answer is Medicare, whose 40th birthday we will celebrate in July. I propose that as a 40th birthday gift to the American people, we expand Medicare over the next decade to cover every citizen - from birth to the end of life.

It's no secret that America is still dearly in love with Medicare. Administrative costs are low. Patients' satisfaction is high. Unlike with many private insurers, they can still choose their doctor and their hospital.

33. So, we know that Ted is a better man than Bush. Bush forced his girl
friend to have an abortion, it looks like that didn't even occur to Ted Kennedy, assuming the story is true.

They will regret going down this road. Larry Flint still has all that information he decided not to publish, once Livingston, another paragon of virtue until he was exposed, stepped down.

Flint has the name of Bush's former girlfriend who it seems Bush got to have an abortion.

And let's not forget John Fund, morality preacher and pro-lifer whose girlfriend's daughter had an abortion at his urging (I believe she has him on tape.)

Bring it on, rightwingers. This is a road we'll be happy to go down with you all. I have a feeling as their own little hypocritical excesses begin to surface again, this story will go away.

They killed two of Kennedy's brothers. They hate him for surviving. He was on their no-fly list, a US Senator, and now their smear machine is in full force. Kennedy is one of the most respected members of the Senate, they are little scum, snapping at his heels. He should kick them away into the gutter where they belong.

The public, including all my Republican friends, are sick and tired of this. This will go nowhere, except among the pathologically hate-filled freeper types. From everyone else, it will only earn Kennedy more respect and sympathy, and remind people of what his family gave to this country.

Oh, and it should bring up the question of who killed JFK again. Each time they do this, it reminds of that ~ and that's something they do not want to talk about.
