Bush asked to list sources of Noe, Abramoff gifts (byTheRestofUs.org)
http://www.toledoblade.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20060107/NEWS09/601070432/-1/NEWS

COLUMBUS - An activist group called on President Bush yesterday to disclose the sources of all campaign contributions collected by former Toledo-area coin dealer Tom Noe, lobbyist Jack Abramoff, and other Bush "Pioneers" and "Rangers" convicted, indicted, or under investigation on corruption allegations.

"The President should not fall victim to the Nixonian tendency to keep bad things secret," said Ned Wigglesworth, analyst for TheRestofUs.org, a watchdog group based in California. "He owes it to himself and the American people to disclose this information so the public can take a closer look at the Pioneers."

In October, a federal grand jury in Toledo indicted Mr. Noe on charges he laundered donations into Mr. Bush's re-election campaign. He has pleaded not guilty. State officials have accused the former Maumee coin dealer of stealing at least $4 million from the rare-coin investment he managed for the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation.

Mr. Noe attained the elite status of a Bush Pioneer in 2004 by raising at least $100,000 for President Bush's re-election campaign...

8. Honey-They're just getting started.
As Randi says, it will soon be easier to list the legislators who are not indicted than to list the ones that are. All these rats are in this together. It's systematic.

5. Everything PISSYPANTS ignores on record shows his MO.
I guess you could say this is his real photo op and you know he's going to look stupid so he'll decline to be photographed. Take the pic anyway. Hmm?

Congress has said * doesn't have unilateral power to spy and one by one these guys are going down. In the history books though, it looks better for our side if we put out the disclaimer that * could have shown his cards if he wasn't holding 8 forged aces.

9. The Boy King found out today that the GOP can live without him.
Honestly, did you ever think that would happen? If you don't think this makes the Chimperor crap his pants, stop watching Fox news.

He brought those ex secretaries of state in there to convince his base he's getting help. He knows he's weak, and this will make it plain that the big boys of the GOP can live without him, too.

4. I like this line
'and other Bush "Pioneers" and "Rangers" convicted, indicted, or under investigation on corruption allegations'.

I'd love to see a list of Bush Pioneers under indictment?

So far we've got Ken Lay and Jack Abramoff. Who else. Was Noe a Pioneer?

17. Ok...
Edited on Sun Jan-08-06 12:17 AM by rainbow4321
I did a few months ago..I didn't want to mess with DU etiquette and repost it too often. But given the recent scandal events and ongoing "shit hitting the fan" in this regime, I will give it a try again. Seeing as how it is pretty late at night, you all may have to help keep it from sinking and disappearing! It'll be over in GD since it won't be seen as fitting into LBN criteria.

Thanks!

19. Shrub concrned by Noe? Bet Noe's the "smoking gun" in Ohio EF,
or at least near the center of it.

No wonder Shrub wants "his details straight."

Wonder if Noe was who Shrub visited on Election Day on his BRIEF visit to Ohio? He did NOT meet with crowds of citizen supporters, as you recall. But whisked in and out, mysteriously... before heading back to WH to watch the Election Returns.
