Baghdad - Clashes broke out early Saturday between insurgents and U.S. troops in Fallujah west of Baghdad amid reports of one U.S. soldier killed, police said.

The police told Deutsche Presse-Agentur dpa that gunmen positioned themselves on top of the roof of a building in Wahda neighbourhood in the centre of the restive city of Fallujah. They opened fire on a U.S. patrol, killing one soldier and injuring three.

The police said the troops opened fire to protect themselves, injuring two bystanding women and a man.

When you killed all their people in a town and leveled it, their friends, children and relatives remember that. And they come back sooner or later as anti-american forces.

Not a "roadside bomb" or a "suicide bomber"? Not good at ALL.
