Furious politicians from Arnold Schwarzenegger's home city have turned on him over his refusal to stop the execution of a reformed gangster.

Councillors in the Austrian city of Graz yesterday voted to remove the California governor's name from the local football stadium.

-snip-

Graz deputy mayor Walter Ferk said: said: 'It is annoying that we are being criticised because of Schwarzenegger's actions in California.

'It is not exactly admirable for us to be connected with the death penalty. Therefore, I am in favour of renaming the stadium.'

-snip-

dear Mods: similar articles have been posted, but this one is saying that his name *IS TO BE REMOVED* from the stadium.

2. Looks like his decision to play the political card
are going to bite him in the butt, at least as far as pr goes in his home country.

Wonder what other repurcussions there may be from this for musclehead?

He made a choice. There are repurcussions of that choice, here in the states, in his home country, etc.

6. Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha! I love it! We are the bloody disgrace of the
world! And Kali-forn-i-a is leading the way! Nice goin', Arnie! And if your bud McPherson does what he was told to do and re-certifies Diebold touchscreens, we can write the whole country off to fascist theocracy for the next thousand years. 600 A.D., here we come!
