1. And all for what? The warped and twisted vision of men who were too
cowardly to fight when it was their time and their country was tangled up in an unnecessary and unjustifiably war. But they didn't do it because of a sense of decency and humanity, not at all. They supported the war. They just felt that it was someone elses job to do the fighting and the dying. Like now, when their kids are safe and sound, well fed, warm and sheltered. And other people's kids are being sent to die for their corruption and greed.

2. Or compare the cost of the Iraq war to the cost of:

Kids Health: we could have insured 135,426,335 children for one year.

Public Education: we could have hired 3,919,415 additional public school teachers for one year.

College Scholarships: we could have provided 10,963,848students four-year scholarships at public universities.

Public Housing: we could have built 2,036,377additional housing units.

World Hunger: we could have fully funded global anti-hunger efforts for 9years.

World Immunization: we could have ensured that every child in the world was given basic immunizations for 75years.

4. It's a list
There are no "paragraphs." I edited out part of that list and put the link at the bottom of the post.

9. In ten years, we will get a feel for the real # of American causalities ...
When the troops come home and start developing cancer from exposure to depleted uranium, when their children are born with birth defects, when they start committing suicide and homicides from PTSD, when they start filing claims with the VA by the thousands, then and and long after, we will start to get the real casualty rate.

As for the Iraqi civilians, the children who have died since Dessert Storm and after this illegal invasion, the unborn children that will die, the people who will develop cancer. Their death toll will be in the millions. There has already been over a million people die of disease related to Dessert Storm and this fiasco.

We have become a nation of terrible, inhumane people. All of us, you, me and the guy next door. Ignorance is no excuse.
