U.S. hostage killed, Iraq militant group says
Man murdered because Americans didn't fulfill demands, Web post claims

BAGHDAD, Iraq - The Islamic Army in Iraq insurgent group said on Thursday it had killed a U.S. security consultant, according to an Internet statement.

The group said the man was killed because the U.S. government did not fulfil its demands, which included the payment of compensation to Iraqis affected by U.S. attacks.

The statement's authenticity could not be verified and no pictures or video accompanied the statement. It was posted on a Web site often used by insurgents.

3. Why did this have to happen? To show how "tough" we are?
We always hear that we are at war. Well, prisoner exchange is a normal and accepted part of war. A lot of those prisoners we have in Iraq are just kids who were out after curfew, or they "fit a description" or some nonsense like that. It wouldn't kill anybody to release these folks just to get this merc--, er, contractor back safely. But now, I suppose we get to show how "tough" we are, and how much "resolve" we have.

Iraq Insurgents Claim to Kill U.S. Hostage
By MAAMOUN YOUSSEF, Associated Press Writer 20 minutes ago

CAIRO, Egypt - A statement signed by an Iraqi insurgent group said Thursday in an Internet posting that it killed a kidnapped U.S. security consultant. The White House said it could not confirm the death.

The statement, posted on an Islamic militant Web forum, did not identify the hostage and provided no pictures, video or other evidence he had been killed. It said pictures of the slaying would be released later. The U.S. Embassy said it had no information to confirm the claim.

White House press secretary Scott McClellan said he could not confirm the death and said he had no additional information on the matter. "Any time there is an American that is taken hostage it is a priority for the administration, and their safe return is a priority for the administration," he said.

It was the first time in more than a year that an insurgent group announced the slaying of an American hostage.

11. gawd, for his sake and his family--I hope this is not true.

....The Islamic Army in Iraq said it had killed "the American security consultant for the Housing Ministry," after the United States failed to respond to its demand of the release of Iraqi prisoners.

A video issued by the group was broadcast Tuesday on Al-Jazeera showing the hostage — identified as Ronald Schulz, 40, an industrial electrician from Alaska — sitting with his hands tied behind his back.

12. hate to say it but I think the U.S. & U.K. is behind these kidnapings
Remember recently when the U.K. prisoners were busted out of the Iraqi jail with tanks?
They were caught dressed as Arabs planting bombs--no one was about to allow them to talk so they let out 100 other prisoners when they mowed down the walls with tanks.

That famous orange jumpsuit beheading video had the same background (paintjob stripes) as the hallways of Abu Garib.
Wonder why they tore down Abu Garib so quickly?

The goal is to perpetuate the "terrorism"--we can say that "if we leave look what will happen"-so our military gets to stay and the oil gets to flow--

But don't "pay me no mind"--->I am also convinced of MIHOP/LIHOP with 911.

15. Sure wish we had the moral authority to insist...
...on adherence to the Geneva Conventions on prisoner treatment.

Might've come in handy about now.

Fucking neocons don't give a shit about the "pawns" in this war as long as the Kings get their big checks.

Bush's ratings are still low and he does like to instill fear to get them up.

So who are you going to trust - terrorists words or bushes words?

I can't distinguish between them.
