U.S. calls medics to Iraq police detention center
Edited on Mon Nov-14-05 03:36 PM by deadparrot
BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- The U.S. Army discovered scores of detainees in poor health at a building run by the Iraqi Interior Ministry during a search for a missing 15-year-old boy, a U.S. general said Monday.

Brig. Gen. Karl Horst of the 3rd Infantry Division said the prisoners were found Sunday "in need of medical care -- so I brought medics in."

Iraqi police went further, telling CNN that many detainees in the Baghdad building "had obviously endured torture" and were "detained in poor health conditions."

The Iraqi Interior Ministry could not be reached for response.

2. It all depends on what the meaning of torture is, and of course, if we
have someone us do the deed for us while we stand there giving pointers technically we are not torturing. One thing is for sure. A lot ot tortured logic has and is coming out of the * administration.

they're getting out of the iraq war, for all those billions.

Seems the only thing bush promised was oil and no terrorism. I don't see us getting paid.

And that's a pretty low bar.

9. nothing more than a "look we care" story...
granted there are soldiers over there that actually give a damn about the welfare of the average Iraqi, but usually they don't have the rank or power to affect any change.

So as the poor foot soldier is pulled ten different ways till Sunday via mission creep, the MSM cheerleaders jump all over this story to pump up morons* failures.

"look look!! we help, no torture!!" what colossal bullshit in an already colossally fucked up situation.
