Iran says it’s not afraid of Security Council
Threats to refer Iran’s nuclear case to the UN Security Council, where Teheran could face sanctions, will not scare it into scrapping its nuclear programme, Iran’s chief atomic negotiator said on Tuesday.

“Iran cannot be intimidated by the Security Council. We do not take such threats seriously,” Ali Larijani, secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, told reporters.

“Iran cannot be threatened with the (Security) Council in order to abandon its right.”

1. Since Bush destroyed the UN and the UNSCR
there's not much there to be afraid of.

2. Bush & Larijani
sound a lot alike. Both reject the opinion of the Security Council & UN, both are replacing diplomatic moderates w/hardliners in their administration, both cater to their fundamentalist base. They'd probably like hanging out together - after they've finished with the war against each other.

4. Iran better be pumping up the defenses. They are after Syria.
Those countries that wish to help Iran better be doing more than
planning to veto the UN if they are to kill the coming invasion.
These countries have the political capital, they have the
financial leverage - do they have the will?
