5. Not off topic at all,
thanks for posting. If you are one of the millions of people who believe in astrology, this is big news. Actually, it's not considered to be a good thing, but maybe we'll escape unscathed.

For the rest of the people who enjoy astronomy, it's a pretty cool thing.

10. yup, DH was planning on a Mars view tonight anyway, he's stoked
about this big time LOL

he'll be out there tonight and hopefully it will still be visable when we have our star party next Saturday.....

12. I wish I could see it. It's friggin' snowing here!
My grandest sight by telescope was Shoemaker-Levy crashing into Jupiter. I couldn't believe I could see that. Mars would be tough though. I don't get a close view of surfaces.
