Pataki making third trip to Iowa - (Run for Pres?)
October 13, 2005, 5:03 PM EDT

ALBANY, N.Y. -- New York Gov. George Pataki, eyeing a possible 2008 run for the Republican presidential nomination, will make his third visit to Iowa in four months when he delivers a speech to a county GOP dinner later this month, a top aide said Thursday.

The Iowa caucuses traditionally begin the presidential nominating process and the state regularly hosts potential White House hopefuls.

Pataki's got to be kidding. He can't even win reelection has governor, he's delusional if he thinks he could win the presidency. Pataki has got to be one of the most inept and boring people on the planet. He makes Bob Graham look like Mr. Excitement.

6. Ah, but he VETOED the OTC Morning After Pill,
sponsored and approved by a REPUBLICAN controlled State Legislature. Purely POLITICAL move to appease the Fundie National base.

New York women get the shaft for Georgie's POLITICAL aspirations. Irony is that it won't work, either.

2. I like Bob Graham
but yeah, he wasn't the most exciting candidates

Pataki's just a moron--he doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell of getting past New Hampshire and Iowa

and why is he running if Giuliani might run

4. Exactly...
Pataki is such a troglodyte. You have to have something resembling a personality to run for president. He's a walking corpse.

5. If Pataki ran the country like he has run New York the country....
would be in in the same bad shape bush has taken it to. He is the most boring, uncharismatic politician ever.

7. attsa good one...
he can run, but he can't abide.

same goes for the soon departed chief exec of my state, the people's republic of Massachusetts.

the only way mitt gets any traction nationwide is to dis MA. how's that working for him.

can't wait to see a New York Catholic and a Michigan/Massachusetts mormon campaigning for fundie votes in Alabama. things have changed, but not that much.

9. I hope so, the perfect candidate. Now if we can just
get someone worse to run against him we can lose one more election. After-all we only have to win by a margin so large it can't possibly be overcome by FL and OH and the other states that will be controlled by Diebolt by 2008.

13. He has the personality of a vaccuum cleaner bag, the smarts of a log
And the presidential chances of Charles Manson. Rotsa Ruck, Gov - I don't think anybody named George has a shot at the presidency for the next three hundred years.
