Bush allies getting Katrina work
At least two major corporate clients of lobbyist Joe Allbaugh, President Bush's former campaign manager and a former head of the Federal Emergency Management Agency, have already been tapped to start recovery work along the battered Gulf Coast.

One is Shaw Group Inc. (Research) and the other is Halliburton Co. (Research) subsidiary Kellogg Brown and Root. Vice President Dick Cheney is a former head of Halliburton.

Bechtel National Inc., a unit of San Francisco-based Bechtel Corp., has also been selected by FEMA to provide short-term housing for people displaced by the hurricane. Bush named Bechtel's CEO to his Export Council and put the former CEO of Bechtel Energy in charge of the Overseas Private Investment Corporation.

4. Bechtel & Halliburton

Do you know while this is yet another feeding frenzy in no bid contracts
that Bush waived the "prevailing wage" law for the workers?

So, in other words, no problem giving no bid contracts to his pals
but pay a worker, a skilled worker, even 9 bucks an hour?

NO WAY SAYS BUSH

Bush made sure that didn't happen...

so let's see, now, just how many people will be desperate for work
in that area? hmmmm....and how poor are those regions...hmmm...

so here is Hurricane victim now desperate for a job and going to work
for nothing in order to survive because all of the other jobs just
got blown off the map by Katrina.

To me, this is one of THE most outrageous stories coming out of this (after unnecessary death and suffering) and yet it's slipping right under the RADAR!

Americans, do not fall ASLEEP when $$$ or numbers are being reported!

This is the number one method they are raping the coffers of America.
