Iran judges to carry guns after spate of attacks
Judge seriously wounded in fourth attack on judiciary official in four weeks

TEHRAN, Iran - Iranian judges are to carry handguns from Monday after a judge was seriously wounded on Sunday in the fourth attack on a judiciary official in the last four weeks, officials said.

Tehran’s criminal prosecutor Fakhroldin Jaffarzadeh said the latest shooting meant judges would have to be armed.

“All judges from prosecutors’ offices will carry firearms from tomorrow and, in case they feel in danger, they are licensed to shoot,” he told the ISNA students news agency.

Judge Mohammad Reza Aghazadeh was fighting for his life after he was shot in the eye outside his Tehran home on Sunday morning, Justice Minister Jamal Karimirad said.

1. why is the CIA targeting judges?
"A Web site said an armed opposition group opposed to Iran’s clerical rulers claimed responsibility for Moghaddas’ killing."

I read that as CIA-propped up insurgent group.

If I'm right, I don't get why judges are a target?

2. Yeah, I was wondering that, too. And I don't have a clue. I thought
civil life was fairly peaceful in Iran. Anybody? Why are judges a target? And what's the evidence for Bush Cartel black ops in Iran?

(I don't consider the Bush Cartel-purged CIA, FBI or any other agency under their control to be American any more. These purged agencies are operating in the interests of Bush Cartel war profiteers and oil-mongers, and in the subsidiary interests of Saudi Arabia and Israel. They are not operating in the interests of the American people, or of a legitimate American government. I think we should put quotation marks around any Bush Cartel agency--thus, the "CIA," or the "FBI" and the "U.S." armed forces--in honor of those who have tried to do their jobs in an honorable way, and have been punished or purged for it, and especially for those who have openly dissented or quit in protest.)
