Missile Defense Brigade Activated
Missile Defense Brigade Activated at Peterson AFB

PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE (AP) - The Army activated a brigade Thursday charged with command and control of a $22 billion system intended to protect the nation from a ballistic missile attack.

Some of the soldiers assigned to the Midcourse Defense Brigade, which will have at least 60 Colorado National Guard and active-duty soldiers, will work inside Cheyenne Mountain, home to the North American Aerospace Defense Command, or NORAD.

If a missile attack was launched, NORAD would notify the brigade, which in turn would provide information on the missiles' location to operators of ''kill vehicles'' based in Alaska and California.

'If the only thing standing between an American city and a North Korean missile is this (technology), we are in trouble,'' (Globalsecurity.org's John) Pike said.

3. Something's brewing.
And I'm reminded of the post warning to expect an attack on a major political figure the last week of October.

6. I have a really stupid question.... so please bear with me..
If we launched a missle to reportedly intercept a missle from say Cuba, how could you disprove this?

I remember Colon showing satellite images of the REPORTED transient vehicles carrying missle launchers and such and I laughed at the time that there is no way you can tell what that is!

So, my question still remains. The only way I see verification is through our DoD and satellite images and both of these options are already tainted and propagandized daily.

5. They are ruling by fear! Plain and Simple. Keep us afraid with nebulous
threats and start hyping that North Korean will be nuking us in our beds if we don't stop them.

Too bad they didn't think of this before 9/11. And, 9/11 was a bunch of guys with box cutters, some of whom had been "training, when they weren't lap dancing" in Jeb Bush's Florida.

They don't want us to think about that.

7.  I don't think NK has any intention of "firing the first shot"

. . But now that the USA has gotten away with it's "pre-emptive" strike on Iraq, I expect we will see an arms race like never before.

The USA has basically said

- if we don't like ya, we'll attack ya

- so I can't really blame other countries beefing up their weapons

Well Done Junior !!
