U.S. will not withdraw from Iraq prematurely - Bush

U.S. will not withdraw from Iraq prematurely - Bush

CRAWFORD, Texas (Reuters) - President George W. Bush on Saturday said the United States will not lose its nerve and prematurely withdraw troops from Iraq, which he said would betray that country as its leaders finish a critical act of democracy in writing a constitution.

"The terrorists cannot defeat us on the battlefield. The only way they can win is if we lose our nerve. That will not happen on my watch," Bush said in his weekly radio address.

The president has been trying to shore up public support as polls show declining approval of his handling of Iraq amid mounting American casualties.

A group of protesters led by the mother of an American soldier killed in Iraq is camped out near his ranch in Texas where Bush is on vacation. Her vigil has drawn substantial media attention.

8. Black is white!
Its all about the $$$$$$$$$$!!!!!!!! He doesn't give a rat's ass about anything else! Anyone do a benefit analysis on how much the BFEE profits for every dead Iraqi, or American soldier? (I would say cost/benefit, but we know the BFEE never pays the cost...only reaps the benefit!) Bush* is one deranged psycho-path.....

9. Jesus Herschel Christ in a Handbasket!
The US is NEVER going to leave Iraq on his watch, and any thought in that direction is pure fantasy! These people NEED war and will only ratchet things up, never down. The rhetoric about Iran (force as a last resort) should be a tip off about what's next.

ANYONE WHO HOLDS ANY KIND OF HOPE THAT HE WILL "BRING THE TROOPS HOME" is living in a fantasy world! "War is Peace!" Don't you know that yet?

15. Denying the obvious - we will lose
This is a war of attrition. The resources of our nation are limited, very limited. The entire war is being financed by debt and inflation. The credit bubble maintaining the economy really can't be maintained much longer without a financial crisis.

When will the serious interest rate increases begin, when oil reaches $100 a barrel? The inflation is meant to reduce the value of American debt, finance "growth" in an unproductive economy, and cheat creditors. The oil markets aren't going for it. They want real money.

17. According to the Bible, it is wrong to withdraw prematurely.
And Bush is a good Christian, so he won't do it.

I think that is what the story of Onan is really about. Oh...well, nevermind then.
