State may be out $12 million Criminal charges possible in coin case

More Republican Crimes in Ohio. This is huge! If we can turn Ohio, it is over for the Neo-cons!

If you don't know. Thomas Noe is connected to the Bush campaign and Secretary of State Blackwell.

"Authorities are pursuing criminal action against coin dealer Thomas W. Noe and moving to freeze his assets after learning yesterday that a public investment he managed is missing up to $12 million.

"We need to unravel, from square one and step by step, very meticulously, what actually took place," Bates said. Noe also faces a federal investigation for campaign contributions related to President Bush’s re-election. (emphasis mine)

Democrats and critics of the coin investment called for Bureau Administrator James Conrad to be suspended during the investigation or resign, and they fear the loss of bureau assets could be higher than the figures reported yesterday."

Why does "fraud", "criminal", and "Bush or Republican Donor" seem to go so well together these days? Perhaps our media hive found their spines.

1. the sad thing is...
I live in NW Ohio and a lot of people around here know nothing of this, our local paper carried a story on page 13 down in the lower left corner. The only place I know of reporting it extensively is the Toledo Blade.:grr:

2. The Blade has done...
...a first rate job with this story, much to the local talking head's annoyance.

Howdy neighbor! :hi:
