Israel’s failure to join NPT adds to tension: UAE

NEW YORK — The UAE has expressed concern over the lenience the international community continues to show towards Israel’s reluctance to join the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).

“The UAE, which like other Arab countries, has committed itself to joining the NPT, is worried about the continued global leniency, hitherto, towards Israel’s failure to join the treaty and its persistence to possess, solely in the region, perilous nuclear arsenals and reactors that adds fuel to tension, violence and dispute in the region,” said Saeed Al Ketbi, member of the UAE delegation, in a statement before the conference of the NPT signatories here yesterday.

1. If Israel joined, Israel would die. Case closed.

2. You are so right
If US and Israel didn't threaten to wipe all life from the face of Earth, the unruly hoards of Eurarabians would just be unable to fight their natural urge to send their overwhelming orch armies against them.

Puh-leeze.

7. Actually, if Israel joined, it might actually begin to live. Like the US,
Israel is committed to violence to prop up it's indefensible policy toward others. This is a losing strategy in the long run and is utterly unsustainable. I hope that both Israel and the US will turn from death centered policies to more life centered policies.
