Viet Nam, Russia co-operate in nuclear energy

Ha Noi, May 22 (VNA) - Viet Nam and Russia agreed to boost bilateral co-operation in nuclear energy during the second session of the Joint Co-ordinator on Co-operation in the Field of Nuclear Energy in Ha Noi from May 17-20.

According to the session's minutes, the two sides will co-operate in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the Da Lat reactor, which is being used for nuclear research, and upgrading a radiotherapy facility in Ha Noi. They will also strengthen ties in personnel training, the application of radiation technology in health care facilities.
