Iran derides 'demeaning' anti-nuclear incentives
There is no truth to reports the West is offering Iran generous incentives to shut down its nuclear program, Tehran's U.N. ambassador said on Thursday, dismissing offers he had seen as "demeaning."

"Don't believe reports that Iran has been given generous offers," Ambassador Javad Zarif told nuclear activists at U.N. headquarters.

The sole firm inducement he was aware of to date, he said, was a U.S. offer to make available Boeing Corp. spare parts for Iran's aging commercial airline fleet, much of which predates the 1979 Islamic revolution.

...

"Iran is not a backward country. We have everything. We buy everything. We pay more for it. This is a fact of life," he said.

1. Straight from the Bolton and Rice school of Diplomacy.
How to win friends and defuse confrontation.

Serves them right though trying to cut a deal with Poppy Bush during the 1980 Presidential election. Look what you have today "W" the son of the Great Satan.
