FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE


TASK FORCE BAGHDAD SOLDIER KILLED IN IED ATTACK

BAGHDAD, Iraq – A Task Force Baghdad Soldier died May 19 at approximately 11:45 a.m. from wounds suffered when his convoy struck a roadside bomb in southeast Baghdad.

The Soldier died en route to a military hospital.

The name of the Soldier is being held pending notification of next of kin. The incident is under investigation.

. . . In no way does my indignation over the pointless death of this soldier take away from my admiration for his sense of duty and patriotism.

...for Bush. Not only will this child have a very sad family, but it really does have a ripple effect beyond the close friend's and relatives. It's a community's loss, a county's loss, a state's loss, a country's loss. Always, one too many for this stupid "war".
