CentCom: TASK FORCE BAGHDAD SOLDIER KILLED IN IED ATTACK (#1626)

BAGHDAD, Iraq � A Task Force Baghdad Soldier died May 19 at approximately 11:45 a.m. from wounds suffered when his convoy struck a roadside bomb in southeast Baghdad.

The Soldier died en route to a military hospital.

The name of the Soldier is being held pending notification of next of kin. The incident is under investigation.
