Clark's Connection Goes Back to the Point
<...>

These days, when Dyer leaves his law office in the evening and goes home and flicks on the TV news, he gets to see his old buddy running for the Democratic nomination for president.

"It's gratifying that a person you've known for most of your life who is incredibly qualified by temperament, experience, background and training aspires to the top position in the United States, perhaps the world. And you know he can do the job."

<...>

"He was an Eagle Scout," Dyer says, "and all he's ever wanted to do was serve his country, which he's done with distinction."

<...>

"When he retired from the Army as a four-star general," Dyer says, "50 or 60 classmates went to Washington to speak to Wes and share in the festive occasion.

"The difference between Wes is, there are lots of bright kids, but they don't have the whole package. He has leadership ability plus incredible intelligence and an ability to generate good will with everyone around him.

"He's a genuine American hero."

It's enough to give the other nine Democratic hopefuls gray hair.

2. His West Point connection doesn't impress me
nor does it qualify him for President.

We don't need an American Ceasar in the White House.

5. Charlie Rangel Supports Clark
And several other CBC endorsements are lined up.

I don't want Bush-lite either. That's why I support Clark. I challenge you to name one Republican position he has taken.

6. OH! Stop swooning....
...maybe Clark is the man to take on Bush. He is certainly a welcome candidate. But this adulation is creepy.
