Reformists jailed by Saudi court

The sentence casts doubts on Saudi Arabia's moderate reforms
A Saudi court has sentenced three reformists to jail terms of between six and nine years for "stirring up sedition and disobeying the ruler".

The three activists were arrested in March 2004 after urging the rulers to move towards a constitutional monarchy and speed up reforms.

They refused to defend themselves on the grounds that the trial was taking place behind closed doors.

Human rights representatives were also barred from the courtroom.

1. This tells you everything you need to know about the BFEE.
And that includes the sexual deviance. Having multiple "wives" like the Saudi Royal Family is DEVIANT.

2. THAT is the Kind of Theocracy They Have Planned for US!
Edited on Sun May-15-05 05:34 PM by AndyTiedye
So many people reassure themselves, "the elite would not stand for a
theocracy, because they would not want to live under one".

They have no intention of living under the theocracy, they intend to live above it,
like the Sheiks of Saudi Arabia.

The purpose of the theocracy is to keep everybody else in line.
