Bush Was Amazed to Spend V-E Day in Russia
WASHINGTON -- President Bush said Wednesday he was amazed to sit in Red Square this week and celebrate the end of World War II in Europe next to the leader of Russia, a nation that has become a friend of the United States.

...

"The lessons of World War II is to honor the sacrifice of those who helped us keep the peace and to remember that the United States is always the beacon of freedom, and that when we find people living under tyranny, we got to work to free them in order to make the world more peaceful," he said.

5. "The lessons of WW2 is ... to remember that the United States is
always the beacon of freedom".

Arrogant bastard. I'm sure everyone celebrating VE day across Europe was saying that was one of the lessons of WW2 to eachother across their dinnertables last night.

The other lesson being "when we (US) find people under Tyranny we gotta work to get em out".

Thats bullshit obviously, and another 'lesson' everyone was taking from the carnage of WW2 recently

Final lesson class "make the world more peaceful" Fucking hell its satire.

Just glad he managed to slip in the prefix of some sacrifice or summit.

Does anyone really hear what he says? Read that sentence again. What the hell is he talking about?

United States is always the beacon of freedom, and that when we find people living under tyranny, we got to work to free them in order to make the world more peaceful," he said.

Hey! North Korea has nuclear weapons! Millions of people are starving there and live under sub human standards (so you and John Bolton tell us). Yoo hoo....I think that's tyranny.

Millions of women, and children in Malawi, Ghana and Chad in Africa are being raped and murdered in the name of freedom. I think that's tyranny.

American troops are being slaughtered in Iraq....that's tyranny.

Good God.

10. I think lots and lots of things amaze him, like
why do dogs pee on Bush/Cheney signs, and why does his secret service not tell him about planes flying near the white house, and whyare his daughters such floozies when he has such good values?? There are so MANY things to be amazed about for this president!!!
