Former UN inspector calls
for 'regime change' in US

A former UN weapons inspector has called for "regime change" in the US at the
next election.

Scott Ritter says Bush lied to the American people and Congress about Iraq's
weapons of mass destruction.

He says UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan lacked courage, and that former chief
weapons inspector Hans Blix is "a moral and intellectual coward".

<snip>
"What is needed in America is regime change," he wrote. "Anything but Bush and
Cheney."

1. Anyone who read the first Will Pitt book with Ritter
knows that all this was a lie a long time ago. Oddly the Administration was so ill-informed they didn't read the book or ask the people who were best equipped to know exactly what the weapons situation in Iraq was.

2. Go Ridder
Appears Ritter was right on a lot of things. What ever happened with those allegations against him? Cybersex or whatever it was?

3. I was wondering about those charges, too.
I think it was kiddie porn or something like that. I've wondered all along if it was a set-up to discredit him. Not that the good christians who run the justice department would ever engage in such tactics (sarcasm).

4. Irrelevant
to the serious issues he brings to our attention. He may - or may not - be a deeply flawed individual. But his knowledge base on Iraq is beyond dispute.

6. Not only that,
But Ritter apparently doesn't feel threatened by whatever skeletons are in his closet, real or imagined. If somebody really 'had' something on me, I think I'd be staying invisible.
Maybe he's called their bluff and gotten over it?
Maybe we should too?

Slip a CD in, copy some on your PC, and there you go, instant Felon.

Then do a half assed delete, and have the Computer Forensic Experts recover it.

Papers rip you to shreds, and off to prison you go.

8. Probably don't even need to slip a CD in
There is currently a virus / trojan horse out of Russian that is secretly commandeering people's PCs and turning them into porn servers. This means it's possible to SEND incriminating files to a person's PC without even breaking into their house.

So it's a crime without fingerprints, very easy to frame someone on this.

He sounded rational clear and very good.
Great revenge for the slander.
