Headline truncated to fit ROME (AP) The Italian government came under pressure Tuesday from some of its own supporters to reevaluate Italy's troop presence in Iraq following conflicting reports on the killing of an Italian agent by U.S. soldiers in Baghdad.

''After having read the contents of the Italian report, I am more convinced that the majority and the government must reflect on the timetable for a return plan,'' the Apcom news agency quoted him as saying.
Calderoli was particularly concerned about reports that American forces might pull out by December. ''I don't want them to come home before us,'' he was quoted as saying.
A member of Berlusconi's own Forza Italia party, lawmaker Raffaele Costa, also urged the government to undertake a ''serious reflection'' on the mission. ''Is there a plan, or at least a vision of how and when we'll get out of Iraq?'' he asked in a statement.
