'No war' protesters to stand trial | ABC (Australia)

'No war' protesters to stand trial

Two protesters have been committed to stand trial over the painting of the slogan 'No War' on the sails of the Sydney Opera House.

David Burgess and Will Saunders have been charged with causing malicious damage.

They will face the Sydney District Court later this month.

1. I wish them luck.

To me, this was one of the most touching, affirming moments in the build-up to war.

I felt so thankful of our Australian friends who went to such great lengths to stop the war and let their feelings be known.

Talk about free speech... screaming it from the tops of the Sydney Opera House. It was amazing.
