White House Briefly Goes on Security Alert
The Associated Press
Published: Apr 27, 2005

WASHINGTON (AP) - The White House went on a security alert Wednesday that prompted President Bush to be moved from the Oval Office on reports that an unidentified aircraft had entered a no-fly zone over the White House compound.
The alert lasted only a few minutes before it was rescinded

When they go security alert, do they round up the hookers like Guckert
wandering around the Whitehouse? Just wondering.

10. I would have guessed it was Gannon/Guckert/Goodbar
You know, some brand new Secret Service agent, who doesn't know the gay hooker protocol yet, sees Bulldog skulking around, assumes he's an intruder, and calls it in. Everyone goes on red alert for a couple of minutes until it's determined that it's just one of the White House "service" personnel, and the stand down is ordered.

A report issued Sunday (it's out here on the Du board... will try to find the link) regarding a (?) New Hampshire (I think) group have released information about Bu$h hanging a sign outside the TX ranch, "Western WH."

It had something to do with being illegal; how he spends way more time there then in WH; it's an excellent read and I think might relate to this very article.

Strange timing, I might add, release-wise.

Did President Bush Violate the U.S. Constitution in Designating His Private Property in Texas the Seat of the Executive Branch of U.S. Government?

17. 1st thing I thought of. Excellent article. I read it yesterday...
This episode brings to my mind the possibility they will call the real WH unsafe and W can take over the Crawford bunker and privately own/operate the whole U.S.
I imagine they can have a way larger No Fly Zone in TX than in DC ?

CRAWFORD, United States (AFP) - A member of Saudi Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz's delegation was denied entry into the United States after authorities found he was on a government "watch" list, a US official said.

The US Department of Homeland Security, in a routine check of the delegation passenger manifest, found that one traveller was on a government list meant to screen out possible terrorists, the official said on condition of anonymity.

"This information was shared with our interagency partners, including the State Department," the official said. "My understanding is that the State Department denied that person a visa and so they did not enter the country."

Edited on Wed Apr-27-05 11:34 AM by flordehinojos
now... we know that HIS COWARDINESS IS A SCAREDY COWARD, and we know that when people are scared ... SHIT OF THE REAL KIND HAPPENS...

and so my question is .... DID BUSH SOIL HIS UNDERPANTS IN THIS PROTECT OUR GOD EXERCISE THEY HAD THIS MORNING AT THE WHITE HOUSE?

and think of it, he gets to go to an underground bunker if anyone at the white house feels that he is threatened. we here in florida ... well, we have to face brother jeb's new license to murder at the okay corral if anyone feels threatened.

30. False alarm causes scare at White House
http://www.chron.com/cs/CDA/ssistory.mpl/nation/3156643

Reuters News Service

WASHINGTON — President Bush was rushed from the Oval Office to an underground shelter and Vice President Dick Cheney was taken to a secure location today on fears that an unidentified aircraft had entered restricted space near the White House. Officials said it was a false alarm.

The brief scare lasted only a few minutes before officials determined there was no threat, White House counselor Dan Bartlett said.

The incident was sparked by a blip on a radar screen that turned out to be a false alarm and no aircraft actually entered restricted air space, said Brian Roehrkasse, a Homeland Security Department spokesman. Helicopters scrambled to investigate confirmed the lack of errant aircraft, he said.

Secret Service spokesman Jonathan Cherry would say only: "There was a report of a possible violation of restricted air space which has since been cleared."

Some White House staff members were moved out of the West Wing and tourists were rushed from the East Wing and sent to the far side of a park across the street from the compound. Gun-toting Secret Service uniformed officers took up positions around the White House compound

42. c'mon, people, we're talking about the presidunt of these United States
here. stop pretendin' like this ain't serious business. there COULDA been a plane up there somewhere, right???

you know, bush should treat his SS people the same way he treats scientists. he should really wait to make sure there's some facts... good hard cold facts, like the ones he's waiting for regarding global warming. he should just put the secret service on hold, like he did the warnings about 9-11. just sit there and check it out. take the "wait and see" approach.
