USA to invest in the development of Russian flying saucer
http://newsfromrussia.com/science/2005/04/16/59172.html

The Russian aviation concern EKIP has signed an agreement on cooperation with Naval Air Systems Command, U.S. Department of Defense company. Two companies will be developing an aircraft that resembles a flying disk. The flying tests of the aircraft are slated for 2007. Its wholesale manufacture should be launched five years later.

The development of the craft started back in 1992. Despite its initial commitments to allocate funds for the project, the Russian government backed out of the plan in 1995. The company failed to find any Russian investors.

I believe it was more like 1947.

5. I wonder if this is REAL technology they are developing, OR...
...is this something they have cooked up to debunk all the recent UFO sightings? Or, even something they are doing to try to quiet the UFO crowd.

Like, "See, it's NOT space aliens, it's just us "Science People" working here on this secret project." "O.K., you caught us, the secrets out, now Move along! Nothing to see here!":tinfoilhat:

6. The test pilot that flew the 'flying saucer' built in early60's just died.
I believe it was Avro who built this for the U.S. air force. They did a small prototype, that you see footage of sometimes. The obituary of the Canadian test pilot who flew it (it was built in Malton, Ontario) was in the Globe and Mail this week.

8. Interesting reading about the Avrocar in Nick Cook's Hunt for Zero Point.
He raises the suspicion that it was an intentional clunker, to throw people off the trail of genuine, deep black R&D.

17. And I suspect that the same deep black R&D is where we'll
presently find the trillions missing from Pentagon budget. :eyes:

12. LOL, another toy for the chimp !!
Flying saucers? LOLOLOLOLOL!!!!

Bush is alot like Star Trek fans with all his faith-based hocus pocus. So, a flying saucer for this Boy King seems logical.
