FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE


MARINE KILLED IN AL ANBAR PROVINCE

CAMP FALLUJAH, Iraq – A Marine assigned to 3rd Reconnaissance Battalion, Regimental Combat Team 8, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, was killed on April 4 from an explosion which occurred during combat operations in the Al-Anbar province while in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

from reading the last weeks events in Iraq I am guessing we have lost a lot more soldiers than they are admitting to. This is fucking sad.

5. I agree. Either the numbers are going to go up majorly
Or they are using some loophole to not count them officially. If they take them to Germany when they are critically wounded and they die there, are they counted?

This is heartbreaking.
