MARINE KILLED IN AL ANBAR PROVINCE

CAMP FALLUJAH, Iraq – A Marine assigned to the First Battalion, Fifth Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, was killed yesterday by enemy small-arms fire while conducting security operations in Ramadi, Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

The name of the deceased is being withheld pending next of kin notification.
