March 31, 2005 -- It was a circus — this time literally — outside Terri Schiavo's hospice yesterday, after a juggling team arrived on the scene.

The self-described evangelical Christian husband-wife jugglers stole the limelight by tossing bowling pins and other items in tandem.

"We're not trying to say things here are humorous," said Nathan Dorrell, 33, of Georgia, who was joined by his pregnant wife, Kathy. "We're trying to say that no matter who you are, whether juggler or lawyer: Stand up for Terri."

The Dorrells provided just the latest head-scratching moment during what some of Terri's supporters said should be a much more somber occasion.

On Tuesday night, one man walked around with a squawking blue cockatoo on his shoulder, while a woman and her two children lugged around a chicken wearing a hat.

What's a media outlet to do? They don't have any liberals on which to blame the failure of Terri's Law. They don't want to call attention to the fixes that Jeb (impeachable), Georgie (Baby Sun killer), and DeLay (hypocrite extraordinaire) have put themselves in. And they can't dump on Jesse Jackson because they haven't been dumping on Randall Terry. So what they're left with is the (Jesus) freak show outside the hospice, and it's smearing the GOP up one side and down the other! The only question is, when are the real Christians going to get together and announce that the GOP doesn't speak for them? Stay tuned, and pass the popcorn, indeed!

I don't know why real Christians get so offended when we point out these people are SICK. They are mentally deranged and I'd say the same thing if they had space aliens on giant sticks, or if they played New Age music over speakers at the break of dawn.

The fact that the Governor, the Mayor and who ever else had the power allowed this circus to go on for weeks when 80 other hospice patients lie inside dying is the most despicable thing I have witnessed in a long time.

I can't even believe what I witnessed this morning. I was in a class at my gym and a woman came running in crying telling us Mrs. Schiavo died. The rest of us looked at her like she was a nut. RIP, God Bless and other words were spoken. I said "Thank God!" The crying woman looked like she was going to jump me. She said "that woman was in pain because of her husband." I said "no, her brain was liquefied and she did not feel pain." It went back and forth for a while, with the class just standing quietly until hysterical lady said...."Fox just reported an intern said she FELT PAIN, you don't know anything."

Thank goodness she left on that note.
