BRUSSELS (Reuters) - Belgian trainers helping police to understand body language have caused a row by likening George Bush's facial expressions to a chimpanzee's.

Interior Minister Patrick Dewael said he was unaware of the pictures when he signed a letter promoting the training package for police dealing with unruly soccer fans, and said the idea was "of bad taste", Het Laatste Nieuws daily reported.

I don't post often because generally someone always gets there first saying exactly what I was thinking and I don't like cluttering up threads just to agree with what has already been posted - but in this instance I actually do have something to bring to the party. I'm a graphic designer and love my Photoshop about as much as I hate GWB, and spend waaaaaay too much time playing with photographs of him, so here's one for your collective consideration:



Honestly, he makes it so easy to do, like shooting fish in a barrel...no wonder the Belgians couldn't resist.

I'm based in the UK (although I'm American) and it has surprised me how easy it is here to sell poster versions of my little photo manipulations!

On a side note, I was very happy to discover DU last autumn. Sometimes I think it's saved my sanity since November, although since then I've spent far too much time lurking here - this is the first place I check into in the morning and the last at night before I go to bed.

I'm 49, but I think it's completely appropriate, and maybe even an argument for evolution, except I believe in God and stuff.

It IS however an insult to chimps around the world.
