"THE FORMER prime minister of Malaysia, Mahathir Mohamad, has launched into a swingeing attack on US president George W. Bush and warned that the global economy was heading for a catastrophe with the dollar in danger of imminent collapse."

"Mahathir claimed that the only reason the US dollar was keeping its value was because of a widespread fear of global meltdown when it collapsed."

1. Would Wolfowitz's elevation to the World Bank have any
effect on the dollar? Just wondering.

3. To be honest, I don't really understand why the neos
keep acting like the dropping dollar is no big deal. I originally thought they probably have already diverted most if not all of their money elsewhere, but maybe with Wolfowitz in the World Bank, they think they can keep bluffing?

5. Does this guy have any credibility?
I agree the dollar is in trouble, but I'd like to hear it from someone without an agenda.
