Cirebon city locked down over bird flu outbreak
Cirebon city locked down over bird flu outbreak

The Jakarta Post, Cirebon/Pekanbaru --Following the uncontrolled spread of bird flu, West Java authorities have stopped all poultry traffic into the area to prevent the problem from getting worse after the disease hit poultry farms in the province, an official said on Wednesday.

The isolation of Cirebon, which has been declared an epidemic area of bird flu in West Java, is expected to prevent a further spread of the disease, which has also hit several other regencies in Central Java.

1. I watched that bird flu
last year when it first reared its ugly head. Tracked it's spread and how the different countries would deny having it..China, Indonesia, Thailand then give a big "whoops" when they finally admitted it because it was so out of control.
I check the news periodically this time to make sure it hasn't made the crucial jump from person to person. That's a scary virus, for sure. It would be global real quick.

4. I still have stuff from Y2K that we never used.
Probably should update my supply.
